I've been given a spec for replacing some old gta kit, which includes a
couple of gb800's for HA, and think I've come across a bit of a
stumbling block.

After a quick skim through the HA manual it seems to be suggesting that
I need different IP addresses within the same public subnet on the
external interfaces.

Unfortunately I only have a /30 subnet for the external IP's, which
makes for one for the router and one for a gb800.

Can this be worked around, or am I going to have to have to get the ISP
to assign us a bigger subnet?

As a second question, I'm assuming I'm going to need to stick a
switch/hub between the two GB's external interface and the router. This
would seem to add an additional single point of failure which was not
there before. Is there a simple workaround for this?

TIA

Richard
