Napster has been a topic of recent discussion. Here are snippets
from earlier discussion:
Napster seems to be quite a pain in the neck. You can find out more
about the protocol used by Napster here:
http://david.weekly.org/code/napster.php3
and here
http://opennap.sourceforge.net/napster.txt.
Make sure you include one for each range...it will probably search them all:
208.178.163.61 (globalcenter)
208.178.175.130-4 (globalcenter)
208.184.216.202,204-209,211-215,217-221 (abovenet @ sjc2:colo8)
208.49.239.242,7,8 (globalcenter)
Or you could move the users desk right next to yours. I bet that would get him to straighten up :-)

Hi
Does anyone know of a way to filter Napster traffic? We're finding our
users continuously download MP3's during office hours. We run a GNATBOX
as our firewall on that network.
