got the guide... lots of reading to do...
yes I can ping both internal and external interfaces. I try to ping the Windows
machine and I get a host down message.
What is the default gateway on the GNAT box, I can find no reference to it in
the guide or the GNAT box interface.
the installed gateway on the Win 98 machine is 192.168.0.1

The GNAT Box user guide does a pretty thorough job of explaining the

Have you set your gateway on the computer to be the default gateway on the
GNAT Box? Can you ping the external or internal interfaces on the GNAT Box?
