This turns out not to work. The file produced by webadmin "download
configuration" is not compatible with gbMakeFloppy. Instead, use gbconfig
with the original (3.0.1) floppy, to create a configuration file. Then use
gbMakeFloppy, as described before, to merge this configuration into the new
(3.0.3) floppy. I've done this and it worked fine.
Now, can anyone tell us what the purpose of the webadmin "download
configuration" option is? Is there anyway to "upload configuration", or
otherwise use the configuration file produced?

I haven't done this yet, but I had the same question and researched it in
the manual. I believe it can be done like this:
1. In webadmin, select administration, download configuration, and save the
file.
2. Run gbMakeFloppy.
3. Click on the icon in the upper left corner to get the system menu. Select
Merge Configuration. Enter the file name you saved to in step 1.
4. Make the floppy.
I was going to comment that 3.0.3 lite wasn't out yet, but I see they've
posted it on the ftp site (though not the web site, which still lists 3.0.1)
