I need to connect to a General Motors FTP server using a secure FTP client
called FileDrive. If I try to connect using the default settings on the
program I get a time out. If I choose connect through a firewall I am given
a selection of FTP firewall types to choose from:
USER userID_at_host
USER fireID | PASS firePW | userID_at_host
SITE host
OPEN host
USER userID_at_fireID@host | PASS userPW_at_firePW
USER fireID_at_host | PASS firePW
USER userID_at_host fireID | PASS userPW | ACCT firePW
If I choose USER userID_at_host I do connect but cannot get authorized using
the login information that GM verified twice.
I have enabled security on the client and have checked "always use
firewall-friendly secure connections (tunnel mode)"
I have no trouble using any other ftp client to connect to any other site.
I am required by GM to use this client.
Am I missing something in my GnatBox configuration, or is this simply a user
name/password problem.
